Well, I have to disagree on a lot of this; the anger about voter ID is not because Dems think there should be NO checking of identity. It's because many states decided to pick and choose identification. Gun license? Yup. University ID? Nope. I could go on. My point, as someone with equal disdain for both parties, is that this bullshit about white kids being too fragile to learn about reality is a total false flag.

I taught ten year old kids about slavery, the middle passage, the selling and buying of humans, the roots of the Civil War and I managed not to make them (90%were white) feel responsible. It was easy.

"Raise your hand if you yourself every bought and sold another human. OK, great. As expected, none of you are responsible for the past. But you CAN improve the future."

Kids are not the fragile flowers that their gun toting, truth fearing parents are.
