This is really interesting to me. I'm 69, a retired teacher, and I think a very confident woman. When a repairman or salesman says something along the lines of "I'll explain to your husband.", my blood boils and I always speak up. When a man, of any age, calls me Sweetie, I don't like it.

But if I am called Sweetie or Honey by a younger female, or a woman my age, it feels friendly. I need to think about this more!!!
