I would add one other reason why I truly believe there needs to be an age limit on serving in public office; it is the young who will live with the decisions we make today. We older folk can, if we want to, ignore the imminent dangers to the world (ie, climate change, income disparity, rising authoritarianism). Our children are the generation who will have to live with all of this.
