So, here’s the point that you have both missed: BECAUSE I know how privileged I am, I know that voting for either Biden or Trump will only maintain the status quo. Biden wrote the crime bill; he supported the Hyde Amendment; he worked with the administration that deported more people than at any previous time; he cooperated with segregationists to oppose bussing for desegregation; he was the VP when the Flint disaster hit.

My point is that, sure, its fine for us white, straight, older folks to ride it out; the status quo is fine for me. It is NOT fine for the marginalized, which is why I’ll continue to work for true progress and justice.

I’ll write in Bernie; I’ll continue to work with the Movement for a People’s Party. I’ll continue to work to elect progressives in my state.

You all need to take a look in the mirror, before you go along with yet another fake liberal administration.
