It is so very heartbreaking to see our Moms as they slowly decline. My Mom raised 6 of us and was a teacher aid. When my Dad died, my brilliant sister bought her a kitten. Raising him and fussing over him helped to fill that void she had in having no kids around anymore. Best of luck to you and to your wonderful Mom.
