I disagree. My friends and some family members are very far from racist or anti-lgbt. Some have mixed race families, are non-Christian, love gay family members. That's my point. The horribles are not the problem. The people who won't let go of their beliefs in the old Reagan era "conservative economics" idea are the real problem. Climate change? "But my retirement money..." Women's rights? "But my income..." It scares me far more than the crazies in MAGA hats.
